Search by fleet number, registration plate, or company name.
Fleet-number matches are listed first, other matches after.
One match flies straight there; several show a pick-list.
Search by route number to see every bus currently running it, anywhere in Sweden —
e.g. "4". Add a region to narrow it down, e.g. "SL 4".
Only shows routes with buses running right now; if several regions or towns share the
number, you'll get a pick-list first. A few regions (Sörmland, Jämtland, Västerbotten,
Norrbotten) don't publish live positions at all — searching a route there shows which company
runs it. Estimated, timetable-based positions for those regions are shown on the map by
default; check "Hide scheduled buses" below to turn them off.
Buses seen live for the first time in the last 30 days, updated every 24h -
newly added vehicles, existing ones renumbered/moved between regions, or
just identified after a catalog fix. Click one to fly to it.
Plain fill — active, currently on a route
Striped — idle less than 35 minutes
Solid red — idle 35+ minutes (includes buses relocated to their depot — see the popup)
Mint green — no info on file yet, needs a lookup
Muted grey-blue, italic — Västtrafik: live position, no reg. match yet (may never resolve)
Sörmland, Jämtland, Västerbotten, and Norrbotten don't publish live GPS positions.
Turning this on shows a dashed, muted box per bus estimated to be currently running,
based on the published timetable — not a real GPS position. It can't
reflect real delays, detours, or cancellations, so treat it as "roughly here, on
schedule" rather than "the bus is actually there right now."
The server didn't return any vehicles. Make sure you've added a Trafiklab API key to .env as TRAFIKLAB_KEY, then restart the server. See README.md for setup steps.
